Comming back to the old shire in 3 hours time after my student rep meeting! It should be fun and good, but I still paic about the fact that there is not much time left and I could be doing work, but we all have that problem these days. I want to go out for a meal on firday but I fear it is far too late to organise it. ASK anyone? Ahhh, if not there is the pub tonight so I will see everyone anyways.
But yeah, after finishing my disseration I had this wonderful idea of writing games related articles all posh blog style, and I still might do, but you know me and my 'projects' that start and never continue.
Wooo!
Just saw the Animal Crossing movie which RAWKED! It was a kids movie so although I did not understand the speech, I could still get the plot and the fact it was so cute!
Anyways, also today we went to a food themed amusement park, which scared me at first, as it was sooo busy but then we realized there was a different quater celebratingall different kinds of food, from noodles to suchi to icecream, we where so stuffed afterwards. I had three deserts, including icecream, pancakes and cream cakes! There where cuddly toys of all the different foodstuffs and a cat with a monocleruleing over it all . I would describe the japanese food a bit more, but I don`t know its name, but safe to say it was gooooood.
Yesterday we visited a part of tokyo full of shires and old style houses, and although it was quite self aware, there where some magical untouched bits too. Also, fish cakes made of pancake batter!
As you can tell, the food is very good over here, but that may just be because I eat trash while staying up in Hull!
I`ll post again soon!
Joel
Oh! I almost forgot, I bought a wonderful new hat, kintted, yellow, with flaps that cover my ears, and big buttons!
Things that rawk about Japan are strange small things that you might expect, such as the way everyone is so friendly and polite, and the fact there are adverts for Animal Crossing as often as any other kind. But also things like the prawn burger from mcDonalds I had. Here consumerism is king, at least in tokyo, but everyone seems even, things aren't to show off with, but to enjoy. And all the houses look different from each other, no terraced houses what so ever. And because of this, next to each house it a tiny alleyway with secrets down it! {these secrets are usually bins and bikes} It feels a bit like the beginning of The Cat Returns where she runs down the alleyways.
Today was our first full day, and we woke up quite early by accident and watches kids TV, and reveled in the english learning programmes that where so cute. There is a very strange thing about japanese design, the fact there is seemingly only one font, and the fact the cram as much as they can into one space, with text, image and colour jossling for space.
But rambling has been fun, and I'll update a bit more tomorrow after we have seen some more culture rather than shopping, but that has been rather fun. Strange things are expensive, and others are cheap. Food is so cheap its scary, and so are books and the train, but toys and games and nice things are expensive, noticaebly, but not extremely.
See you peeps soon, I'm missing you all and seeing things and thinking 'hey so and so would love this' for you!

Proper post soon!
My life is fun at the moment, life is good and my firends are loverly, trying to find time to come down for Chris's brithday, but its looking hard due to uni work, so I might have to come back a week late.
Uni work is major fun at the moment, as is going out to the Adelphi club every week for open mic night. I must try to put some kind of Zelda or Warcraft band together at some point! In the words of the Beastie Boys: Brewmaster, cut faster... or somthing like that!
Anwyays, the guild forum is now up, with a LOVERLY colour scheme at brewmasters.proboards104.com and the website for the guild should be up soonish, hwoever, my gnomish flatmate has kinda taken it over already, but don't be afraid, he's harmless! Website should be comming at some point, if we find serverspace!
Anways, no point to this post, no point at all!
Oh, there could be a point to it! Eddus? I need to talk to you about stuff to do with my Uni course, nothing serious, just to do with screenwriting. Whoop! May ring you later in the week.
Here is a tiny picture of bex as she does not like photo's being posted of her, I will make it really small and maybe she will not notice! >>

Bye
The Summer does not feel like it has ended this year, just continued in a different way, dear said to me, and it was true for me aswel. Maybe its wow, maybe its the fact I've been talking to Heather and the Charmen about this Nottingham thing, but I don't feel so far away from home anymore!
The thing that is definitely is, is me and Bex, we are loverly, and we talk almost every day, though yesterday after she left I was in a weird mood all day, and when she rang I could not talk, and we just wanted to listen to each other voices. I'll phone her tonight and ramble on and make beautiful conversation with her!
Also, a friend of mine from WoW was really sad yesterday, so I set myself to trying to cheer her up! It was nice to randomly converse for the fun of it, I haven't used MSN to talk to people properly in a while. It always feels like the screen is a wall between me and the other person, and they might interpret something i say differently to how i mean it. However, as we where both there just to joke about, it was loverly and relaxed!
Which B-Movie Badass Are You?
Stolen from Gauroth! Whoop! Seth Gecko! If you don't know he's from 'From Dusk till Dawn' which is a wonderful zombie/vampire killing movie.
